The dispute arose from a lease settlement executed in February 2019, beneath which Hembree Insurance coverage Belief leased a 135,847-square-foot industrial constructing in Scottsboro, Alabama, to Maples Industries for a five-year time period working from January 1, 2020, via December 31, 2024. The lease obligated Maples to keep up the property, together with a clause specifying that Maples can be “answerable for the alternative or restore of the roof,” whereas Hembree would cowl “50% of agreed upon roof alternative or agreed upon main restore prices.”
