Zurich US has named Nick Alberts (pictured, proper) as head of US development, power and marine claims, efficient July 1, in a newly created position on the middle of that realignment. Alberts brings 17 years of Zurich claims expertise, together with management of the corporate’s latent and environmental claims groups dealing with technical and complicated issues – an inside promotion that preserves institutional data on the level of a major structural change. Three claims roles tied on to Zurich’s development enterprise now report back to Alberts: head of marine and power, head of development defect, and head of development skilled legal responsibility. He’ll work with Zurich US head of development Tobias Cushing and Kelly Kinzer, world head of development and surety, to maintain claims capabilities aligned with development prospects, brokers and market-facing colleagues.
