The dispute started with a subcontract between Continental and US Framing to offer framing companies for 2 pupil housing tasks—one in Knoxville, Tennessee, and the opposite in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Work started in 2017, however disagreements rapidly emerged over delays on the Knoxville undertaking. In December 2017, the events amended the subcontract, agreeing to desert any delay-related claims in opposition to each other. In January 2018, US Framing agreed to go away the Knoxville undertaking, and a brand new “change order” confirmed that the contract can be deemed full, with no additional funds or recourse by both facet.
